About award-winning artist Allie Hafez
Soon after college graduation, Allie started making jewelry to accessorize her own clothing, and was often asked to sell what she was wearing. She founded OTIWA Designs in 1999. Allie also makes art that isn't jewelry. To showcase this aspect of her artistry, as well as to include the woodworking artistry of her husband, Bob Flynn, Allie created Hafflynn Studios.
The website and store for their artworks is alliehafez.com
Allie is acclaimed as a patient and inspiring instructor for beginners and experienced beaders alike. She teaches beading techniques to individuals and groups in both private homes and community-based settings.
Her training and experience as an Occupational Therapist makes it possible for her to customize classes to the diverse abilities of her students. Allie blogs about her art and other things related to creativity that catch her interest.
